The inaugural OTC Brasil 2011 technical conference will offer prominent industry leaders and experts in special sessions. They will address key issues facing the Brazilian and global offshore oil and gas industry.
Organized by the prestigious Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), OTC Brasil will be held 4-6 October in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is expected to attract a large global audience.
Speakers continue to be added for a series of special sessions, in addition to the 200 technical papers, representing 19 countries, that will be presented. Browse the complete technical program online.
The Opening Plenary Session topic is “Brazil’s Regulatory Regime for Offshore Oil and Gas Development,” with speakers from ANP. A second plenary session focuses on “Challenges, Logistics, and Infrastructure.”
Panel sessions will explore technology skills development by universities and industry, as well as compare the South America and West Africa petroleum systems where major discoveries have been made.

Exhibition Update
The OTC Brasil exhibition has been expanded because of strong company interest. In the last 30 days, the conference has added more than 50 exhibiting companies, and currently has 365 confirmed exhibitors. The number of company sponsors continues to grow.

Accommodations
Due to the large attendance expected at OTC Brasil, hotel accommodations should be reserved as soon as possible.
We currently have seven 3-star or greater hotels that are available: Sheraton Barra, Sheraton Rio, InterContinental Rio, JW Marriott, Windsor Barra, Caesar Park and Sofitel.
Hotels are filling up very quickly and once a hotel is full, there will not be any additional availability at that hotel.
