Kunle Kalejaye 30 March 2016, Sweetcrude, Abuja – The Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria, PETAN – the Nigerian oil industry’s oldest association – has elected new officers to pilot the affairs of the association in the next four years.
The new officers elected at the association’s recent annual general meeting of the association in Port Harcourt include the chairman, Mr. Bank-Anthony Okoroafor.
Okoroafor succeeds Mr. Emeka Ene, who steered the affairs of PETAN in the last four years, according to a statement by the association.
Okoroafor was elected alongside other new board members, including Mr. Geoff Onuoha, Vice Chairman; Lawal Gbolahan, Secretary; Wole Ogunsanya, Assistant Secretary; and Nik Odinuwe, Publicity Secretary.
Others are Sheba Palama, Financial Secretary; Mrs Edith Akwaeke, Treasurer; Ranti Omole, Conference Chairman and two ex-officio: Emmanuel Onyekwena and Chubby Ibe.
