29 July 2013, News Wires – State-run PetroChina has confirmed the appointment of Wang Dongjin as the company’s new president.
Wang would be replacing Zhou Jiping in the role who recently took over as the company’s chairman.
Wang has more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry and been a director at PetroChina since 2011.
He has also served as the deputy general manager of PetroChina’s parent company China National Petroleum Corporation since 2008.
