09 January 2013, Sweetcrude, Lagos – A fire said to have started from a barge berthed at the MRS depot facility has resulted in an explosion which ripped through parts of the tank farm.
Details are still sketchy at the moment, but fire fighters are still battling to check the spread and no lose of lives or injuries had been recorded at the time of filing this report.
