Moscow — Russia’s acting Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak will meet his Belarusian counterpart Igor Lyashenko to discuss cooperation in the oil sector, the Interfax news agency reported on Thursday.
Russia suspended oil supplies to Belarus from Jan. 1, but partially restored them on Jan. 4. Two Russian oil firms, controlled by tycoon Mikhail Gutseriyev, will supply Belarus with oil essential for minimum operations at its two refineries.
