    Sudan: Oil Minister reviews Malaysian visit plan

    16 April 2016, Khartoum – The Sudanese Minister of Oil and Gas Dr. Mohamed Zayid Awad discussed at his office Thursday with the Malaysian Ambassador to Sudan the arrangements for visit to Malaysia on Saturday.

    The minister is to discuss, during his three-day visit, with the leaderships of PETRONAS Company the program of oil production increase, exchange of experiences and cooperation prospects between Sudan and Malaysia in oil sector.

    The minister, meanwhile, expressed his gratitude to the government and people of Sudan, stressing completion of arrangements for receiving Sudan delegation led by the Minister of Oil and Gas, pointing out to the importance of the visit which came within the cooperation between the two countries in the petroleum sector.

    It is worth mentioning that the visit agenda included the minister’s visit to the PETRONAS Oil Tower and other sites as well as the discussion of partnership development with PETRONAS.
