    Ben Agande

13 February 2013, Sweetcrude, Abuja — Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, has said that transmission remained one of the greatest challenge in the power sector.

According to him, government is working hard to ensure that this problem is resolved.

Speaking with State House correspondents after a meeting of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company, NDPHC, presided over by Vice President Muhammad Namadi Sambo, Tuesday, Prof Nebo said government was focusing attention on this and other problematic areas to ensure that the expectations of Nigerians were met in the shortest possible time.

He said the federal government was working round the clock to link many parts of the country to the national grid before the end of the year, adding that solutions were being sought to other myriad of problems militating against the provision of steady power to Nigerians.
