15 January 2014, Nairobi – Tullow Oil plc has announced oil discoveries in northern Kenya. The exploration firm today announced oil discoveries at the Amosing-1 and Ewoi-1 exploration wells in Block 10BB in Turkana.
Tullow said that as a result of these discoveries and recent finds at Ekales-1 and Agete-1 wells, it has updated the estimate of discovered resources in this basin to over 6000mmbo.
