25 June 2018, News Wires – Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States have increased during the week ending June 20, the Energy Information Administration said in its weekly natural gas report.

Five liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers, with a total capacity of 18.7 billion cubic feet, departed the United States during the week under review, one more compared to the week ending  June 13, when four LNG tankers with a combined cargo capacity of 14.6 Bcf left the export plants.

EIA’s data shows that three LNG tankers were loaded at Cheniere’s Sabine Pass export facility in Louisiana, while two more were dispatched from Dominion’s Cove Point LNG export plant in Maryland. To remind, no cargoes were dispatched from the plant over the week prior.

One LNG carrier with the carrying capacity of 3.6 Bcf was loading at the Sabine Pass LNG plant on Wednesday, June 20.

The natural gas feedstock to both of the terminals averaged 3.3 Bcf/d during the report week, up compared to the 2.9 Bcf/d the week before.

EIA, citing Genscape, added in its weekly report that the third liquefaction train at the Sabine Pass LNG facility, which has been shut down since May 16, reportedly returned to full production around June 14.
