01 July 2014, News Wires – The UK’s Wood Group Kenny has been awarded a subsea engineering services contract on the Tullow-operated Tweneboa, Enyenra and Ntomme (TEN) project, off Ghana.
Wood Group did not reveal the value of the contract which will see it supply subsea, umbilical, risers and flowlines engineering services on the project.
It will provide Tullow with project engineering resources, specialist technical support and technical assurance services across the Surf implementation work scope through to first oil.
The TEN fields lie in the deep-water Tano Block, about 60 kilometres off Ghana, and the development will see the drilling and completion of up to 24 development wells which will be connected through subsea infrastructure to a floating production, storage and offloading vessel which is currently under construction in Singapore.
First oil from the TEN fields is currently scheduled for mid-2016.
