Port Harcourt — The Nigeria Police has warned its men and officers against all forms of corruption, particularly aiding illegal oil bunkering activities and other acts capable of tarnishing the image of the force.
The Police Area Commander, Oyigbo Area Command in Rivers State, ACP Abdulkarim Nuhu, who gave the warning on Wednesday, said erring officers would be made to face the full weight of the law.
Nuhu spoke at Elimgbu Police State while  on inspection tour of Police divisions under his Command to lecture the officers and men of the Division as well as interact with traditional rulers and stakeholders within the Oyigbo Area Command’s jurisdiction.
He solicited the support and cooperation of members of the public, especially in information sharing, while warning officers to be professional in the discharge of their duties.
“Officers must be professional in the discharge of their duties at all times.

“An erring officer caught will face the full weight of the law.
“The Command under the watch of the Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday will continue to work assiduously to sustain the peace enjoyed in the State. However, we need  the support and cooperation of members of the public, especially in information sharing.”
