Port Harcourt — The four states covered by the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company Plc, PHED, are currently facing power outage as a result of a national grid collapse.
The management of PHED confirmed this in a statement posted on its official X handle.
The four states are Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Cross River State.
The PHED in the statement appealed to customers to be patient as power would be restored as soon as the problem is rectified.
“Kindly be informed that the outage you are
currently experiencing is as a result of National
Grid collapse affecting all our franchise areas.
“However, we assure our customers that power will
be restored as soon as it is rectified. All inconveniences are regretted,” PHED said.
