11 December 2013, Cairo – Egypt will take part in a conference on energy to kick off in Brussels, Belgium, on December 11. The conference will focus on means to confront an expected energy shortage in the Mediterranean region in light of a decreased world production of oil.
Topics like better usage of energy to hone competitiveness of Mediterranean economies will figure high in the conference, said head of the council of exports of construction materials Walid Gamal el-Din Tuesday 10/12/2013. He said 250 industrialists and experts will take part in the conference.
