    Egypt's electricity minister in Vienna for IAEA 58th meeting

    Egyptian pyramids22 September 2014, cairo – Egypt’s Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker is in Vienna at the head of Egypt’s delegation to the 58th round of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) holding from Monday, September 22.

    The delegation, which left Cairo, the Egyptian capital, on Sunday includes Egyptian ambassador in Vienna, representatives of the ministries of electricity and foreign affairs and heads of Egyptian nuclear authorities.

    The event will run until Friday 26/9/20141. On the sidelines of the conference, Shaker will hold talks with the IAEA director general and the heads of the Russia, Korean and Jordanian delegations.

    The meetings will take up Egypt’s cooperation with these states in the field of energy and peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

    Shaker will also meet with head of OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) that takes part in funding a number of electricity projects in Egypt.
