04 October 2012, Sweetcrude, LAGOS – TWO major upsets were recorded Wednesday, at the 2012 Chevron Masters, a junior tennis tournament holding at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, LLTC, in Onikan, Lagos.

First to write his name in gold was 10 years old Michael Oshewa, who beat Kolade Sunday, a 17 year-old secondary school pupil, in straight sets of 7-5, 6-1

Next to fall like Goliath on the tennis court was 10-year-old, Michael Ayoola, who battled from a set down to beat 16-year-old Aisosa Odiase in three thrilling sets of 2-6, 6-0, 6-3.

A thrilled Ayoola, who hails from flood-ravaged Kogi State, said that fans should expect more impressive performance from him in the future.
