Port Harcourt — There is a massive fire outbreak in a oil facility operated by the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited, SPDC in Nkalagu creek, Rumuekpe, Emouha Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The cause of the fire explosion is not yet known as at the time of filing this report.
But the Zonal Director of the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency, Mr Cyrus Nkangwung, who confirmed the report, said the it was SPDC that notified them of the fire outbreak.
