Nairobi — A Kenyan court freed Finance Minister Henry Rotich and his number two at the ministry, Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge, on cash bail on Tuesday after they were charged with various corruption offences.
Magistrate Douglas Ogoti said Rotich and Thugge should stay away from their offices for the duration of their trial.
Both Rotich and Thugge deny the charges against them.
