    New gas plant in Anambra to employ 700 youths

    02 July 2017, Sweetcrude, Lagos – Over 700 youths are set to be employed as the Stanel Group ultra-modern mega gas plant in Awka, Anambra State, is set for inauguration.

    Chief executive Officer, Stanel Oil, Stanley Uzochukwu has announced in a statement made available to NAN that the ‘one stop mega centre’ would be officially commissioned by the governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, on July 7.

    According to the statement, the 1.5 million litre capacity plant is strategically located between the state owned Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Anambra State Women Development Centre along 9th Mile-Awka expressway.

    Facilities at the mega centre include a big farmers’ market (where fruits, vegetables and other farm produce are available), french bakery, pharmacy store, automated car maintenance centre, car wash, 1000 capacity chapel, warehouse, supermarket, staff quarters, laundry and vent centre.
