Port Harcourt — Nigeria’s state-owned energy giant, NNPC Limited, says it will be participating in this year’s Gastech 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Milan, Italy, where it will showcase its expanding role in the global energy transition.

The four-day event, scheduled for September 9–12, 2025, will bring together global leaders, innovators, and investors in natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, and climate technologies.

In a statement, the company said its participation underscores its transformation into a dynamic global energy company with operations across the entire value chain.

“From the 9th – 12th September 2025, we’ll be at Gastech in Milan, highlighting NNPC Ltd’s impact across natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, climate technologies, and AI in energy, while engaging with global leaders, innovators, and investors shaping the industry’s future,” the company announced.

The NNPC Ltd stand, located at H70, will feature its cutting-edge solutions, investment opportunities, and technical expertise in powering energy transformation for both Nigeria and the global market.

NNPC Ltd’s presence at Gastech follows its recent push to expand domestic gas utilisation, strengthen LNG supply, and position Nigeria as a key player in the international clean energy landscape.

The company said its focus on natural gas as transition fuel, hydrogen potential, and deployment of climate technologies aligns with Nigeria’s net-zero commitments and President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to attract foreign investments into the energy sector.
