Lagos — The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA in collaboration with the World Bank are currently in talks over the possibility of a sustainable Port Master plan.
Speaking at the just concluded meeting of the Port Consultative Council held in Lagos, a member of the Council, Capt Ihenacho Ebubeogu said that he has met with the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority Mr. Mohammed Bello-Koko confirmed the development.
Ebubeogu also said that the interest of the World Bank was to see how a sustainable Port Master plan can facilitate trade adding that the Bank is also opened to sponsoring any aspect of the plan.
Although, information surrounding the development is still very sketchy as at the time of filling this report.
