03 March 2019, Sweetcrude, Lagos — The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, SNEPCo, has marked the attainment of 800 million barrels of crude oil production from the Bonga oil field which commenced production in 2005.
The company commenced production from Oil Mining Lease, OML, 118 through a Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading, FPSO in 2005 under a production sharing contract with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
