    TotalEnergies and Kuwait Oil Company sign a technical cooperation agreement

    Paris/Kuwait City – On the occasion of the opening of the 5th edition of the Kuwait Oil & Gas Show and Conference (KOGS), TotalEnergies and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) today signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) aimed at strengthening their cooperation, through the exchange of expertise and the carrying out of technical studies.

    The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies, Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Sabah, CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and Ahmad Jaber Al-Eidan, CEO of KOC.

    This agreement includes studies relating to new exploration opportunities in the country, for which TotalEnergies will mobilize its technical expertise.

    “ We are pleased to strengthen our cooperation with Kuwait Oil Company through this agreement, which illustrates the shared commitment of both companies to contribute to Kuwait’s ambitions for resource development. The studies that will be carried out will help inform future projects, while enriching our long-term relationship with Kuwait ,” said Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies.
