Port Harcourt — Over 260 communities hit by flood in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo states will get relief materials distributed by the Nigerian Agip Oil Company and Joint Venture partners.

The relief materials include food items and essential goods.

*Delegation of NOAC JV and representatives of OB/OB communities

A delegation of the NAOC JV began distribution during the weekend at the host communities of OB/OB gas plant after meeting with the community leaders.

NAOC expressed its sympathy with the host communities saying the gesture was to reinforce the existing collaborative relationship that had existed with the communities since 1962.

The company said the mutually beneficial partnership had become more important at the time of the disaster.

Receiving the relief materials on behalf of OB/OB communities, the Prime Minister of Ogbaland, HRH Louis Ajie Eze Iyasira, expressed appreciation to the NAOC JV for the timely support.

The NAOC JV shareholders are NNPC E&P Limited, Eni’s subsidiary NAOC and Oando.
