    Buhari re-appoints Umana Okon Umana as OGFZA boss

    Port Harcourt — Umana Okon Umana has been re-appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority, OGFZA.

    The re-appointment took effect from December 23, 2019, and would run for three years.

    A statement by the Media Aide to the MD and CEO of OGFZA, Mr. Iboro Otongaran, said Mr Umana has since resumed duty.

    “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the renewal of the appointment of Mr Umana Okon Umana as the Managing Director/CEO of the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA) for a second term of three years with effect from 23 December 2019.

    “Mr Umana has since resumed duty,” the statement said.
