Lagos — Exxon Mobil has lifted a force majeure on Nigeria’s Qua Iboe crude oil exports.

This is according to a Reuters report Friday, quoting a spokesman of the company.

The force majeure came into effect in December after a fire hit the Qua Iboe terminal in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, through which handles the Qua Iboe crude oil. Two workers were injured in the incident.

Qua Iboe is among the largest oil export streams in Nigeria, Africa’s largest crude exporter.
