3 November 2011, Sweetcrude, Cape Town – Liberia will have 13 offshore hydrocarbon blocks available for licensing in the second quarter of 2012, an official of state-run National Oil Company said on Thursday.
The plan was announced in a presentation to an oil conference in Cape Town by Rufus Tarnue, the vice president of technical services with the company, Reuters reported.
West Africa is a mature oil province but Liberia remains a frontier petroleum state.
