15 September, 2011, Sweetcrude, Ibadan- Electricity customers in the network of PHCN Dugbe Business Unit can now heave a sigh of relief as the company has succeeded in reactivating all the installations in its network that were damaged by rainstorm.

The PHCN Business Unit says it has restored public power supply to all areas that were plunged into blackout by the rainstorm.

A statement by Mr. Tokunbo Peters, the Dugbe Business Unit image maker in Ibadan explained that all the 33KV and 11KV feeders in the network of Dugbe Business Unit are intact.
Though, customers may experience some load shedding which are as a result of inadequate load allocation from the National Grid.

The statement specifically states that public power supply has been fully restored to Ajibode Community, which is being fed by the Apete/University of Ibadan 33KV feeder since Saturday 10th September, 2011 and that any complaint of prolonged power outage from any community or institution on the UI 33KV feeder is attributable to an internal or local problem.

PHCN empathises with all its valued customers for the discomfort experienced during the period of power outage.
