04 January 2011, Sweetcrude, WARRI — Nigerians have been assured that the recent hike in cost of petrol will be handled in a manner that people will not be disappointed as soon as the National Assembly resumes from its current break.

Speaking to Sweetcrude, Tuesday, member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Daniel Reyenieju, called on Nigerians to be calm and have confidence in the ability of the House to genuinely be on the side of the people in their current rejection of the recent hike.

Reyenieju said: “I have absolute confidence on the leadership of the House to handle the issue and take the necessary pro-peoples’ stance to address the current crises. As the genuine representatives of the people, the House will pitch its tents with Nigerians.”

He advised protesters to ensure that miscreants do not take advantage of genuine protests to unleash mayhem.
