    Slok Nigeria boosts capacity with 4 supply vessels

    25 July 2012, Sweetcrude, LAGOS – SLOK Nigeria Limited, a Nigerian indigenous shipping company has signed a contract with the Shanghai-based Sinopacific Shipbuilding for the construction of four new 3,700-tonnes platform supply vessels, PSVs.

    The four PSVs, with an overall length of 78.55m and 17.20m in mould breadth, form part of the Sinopacific’s SPP35 series of vessels.

    The vessels have 3,700 metric tonnes of generator power and the ability of developing a speed of 13 knots, the company said.
