11 January 2017, Sweetcrude, Abuja — Sequel the commencement of today’s strike action backed upon by Nigerian oil workers, NUPENG and PENGASSAN leaders are currently in a close door meeting with the Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige in Abuja, Sweetcrude Reports can authoritatively report.

Details of the meeting are however sketchy but sources explained to our correspondent that there are chances that Federal Government and labour leaders will arrive at a unanimous decision that will end the strike.

Today’s strike has had ripple effects in the country as activities in seven crude oil flow stations in Niger Delta have been ground while citizens have engaged in panic buying of petroleum products in filling stations.
