Zeinab, executive secretary of NEITI06 November 2013, Abuja – Zenera Consulting, a Nigeria based brand management and strategic communications Company has announced its decision to sponsor the second annual Sustainability in the Extractive Industries Conference scheduled for November 2, 2013 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos, which is organised by CSR-in-Action in conjunction with Businessday Newspapers.

This year’s edition with the theme – SUSTAINABILITY IN THE EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES: POLICY, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION AND SUSTAINED GROWTH is expected to attract people within the areas of oil and gas, mining and related professions, as it did last year, to help provide a genuine mapping approach to measure sustainability within this sector.

Commenting on the conference, the Managing Partner of Zenera Consulting, Meka Olowola, explained that“Zenera Consulting as a reputation management firm, preaches the concept of corporate citizenship as an imperative for efficient brand management in today’s very conscious marketplace. We currently work with various Clients to align the principle of sustainability across their value chain as an inclusive way of operating their businesses and managing image proactively. We are therefore happy to sponsor such an engaging conference that seeks to provide a platform to address the interlink between appropriate policy, collective commitment and sustainable growth within the industry that we function.”

CSR-in-Action’s front woman, BekemeMasade, Exacutive Director, commented that “CSR is the religion of corporates. We are, therefore, delighted to have Zenera Consulting bring on board its expertise in reputation management and otherwise alongside our other supporters including Shell Nigeria, Seven Energy, Statoil, BusinessDay and YNaija.”
