14 August 2012, Sweetcrude, LAGOS – FIFTEEN ships laden with various petroleum products are expected at Lagos ports this week, the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, has said.
The shipping position made available to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Lagos by the NPA showed that the 15 vessels are part of a total of 80 expected to arrive the ports with various items between August 13 and 28.
The shipping position showed that, of the 15 fuel-laden ships, nine would be arriving with diesel; two with petrol while four would bring in kerosene.
Besides petroleum products, one of the ships is to sail in with 3,708 tons of steel products while others will bring in bulk sulfur, sugar, bulk wheat, old and new vehicles, fish, rice, bulk salt, fertiliser, containers, general cargo and corn.
