    Community task Gov Uduaghan on provision of amenities

    15 August, 2011, Sweetcrude, WARRI, Delta – GOVERNOR Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has been charged to provide the Naifor Ijaw people with social amenities to make life more meaningful for them.

    Chairman of the newly inaugurated executive of the Naifor Island community of Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom in Warri South-West, Mr. Naira Hitler made the appeal during the inauguration ceremony of the 11-man executive at Naifor.

    Accompanied by the secretary, Mr. James Omare Oyimi, the new chairman commended the Commanding Officer of the NNS Delta Navy Base, Warri, Commodore Henry Babalola for the presentation of food items worth over #1million to the people, promising him that they would remain peaceful as ever in line with Governor Uduaghan’s 3-point agenda.

    While promising to lead the Island community to greater height, Mr. Naira further promised to discharge his duties without fear or favour, even as they vowed to ensure that the primary school in the place is made to become more functional.
