27 September, 2011, Sweetcrude, WARRI- BOBORUKU community in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, which was recently devastated by flood, has appealed to the state government to immediately come to the rescue of the people.

Residents of the community of the community who spoke to newsmen said the entire landscape of Boboruku Grammar School, Boboruku was taken submerged, including homes and property of villagers.

One of them, Mr. Abel Imonina, a youth leader, suggested that drainages be constructed by government to channel water into River Ethiope.

Imonina equally commended the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, Erhiekevwe 1 (JP) for his administrative ingenuity which led to Fulani herdsmen withdrawing their cattle form the community farmlands.
