Lagos — Rainoil Gas Limited has expanded its retail presence across Nigeria with the launch of 10 new Liquified Petroleum Gas, LPG, retail outlets in the first half of 2025. This development aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance nationwide access to clean, safe, and affordable cooking solutions.
The new additions comprise 630MT LPG Plants and 4 %MT Add-on Skids, strategically located across the South-West, South-South, and North-Central regions.
The newly commissioned facilities are located at Ado-Ekiti, Osogbo, Ore, Agbor, Calabar, Ikom, Egba, Benin Bypass, Sakponba and Irrua.
The expansion marks another step in Rainoil’s drive to deepen LPG infrastructure to meet increasing consumer demand in the country. The expanded network will provide safe and convenient access to cooking gas.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Emmanuel Omuojine, Managing Director of Rainoil Gas, said: “Accessible, reliable and affordable energy is essential for economic development. These new LPG sites are a reflection of our commitment to bridging the existing infrastructure gap, particularly relating to last-mile delivery of cooking gas. We are fully aligned with the Government’s agenda of ensuring universal access to clean cooking energy solutions in Nigeria by 2030, while improving public health by reducing exposure to harmful smoke, protecting the environment through reduced deforestation and desertification, and fostering economic growth via job creation and lower household fuel costs.”
Industry experts have welcomed the rollout, noting its alignment with the Government’s energy policy priorities, particularly the federal government’s promotion of gas as a key transitional fuel.
Spanning multiple regions and covering both rural and urban demand clusters, these new stations signal the company’s strategic progress under its Road to 400 campaigns, a bold mission to grow Rainoil’s retail network to 400 service stations. With the latest additions, Rainoil now operates over 210 retail stations across 27 states in Nigeria.
According to Ifeanyichukwu Omezi, Brand and Corporate Communications Manager at Rainoil Limited, the expansion goes beyond just hitting targets.
“We are not just adding numbers, Each station represents a promise kept. A promise to be closer, to serve better, and to make quality energy more accessible to the everyday Nigerian. It’s about showing up where we’re needed and doing so with excellence,” Omezi shared.
Rainoil’s newly opened stations are strategically located to meet growing energy needs. Each new location stands as a physical expression of Rainoil’s mission to deliver value not just in petroleum products and lubricants, but also in service, consistency and presence.
