    Lagosians to face fresh round of power outage

    Lagos — The Eko Electricity Distribution Company, EKEDC has notified its customers of a planned power outage across Lagos State between 7th to 13th March 2022.

    This comes on the heels of a recent power outage faced by customers of Ikeja Electric.

    Ikeja Electric had in the last quarter of last year embarked on maintenance and upgrading of some of its lines. The outages had lasted for days.

    A statement by EKEDC on Monday, gave reasons behind the outage, saying it is to carry out qualitative maintenance, upgrade and rehabilitation on Nitel Injection Substation for efficient, stable and reliable supply.

    It added that this will affect customers in Agege Motor Rd, Ladipo, Anipele, Iyala, Fatai Atere, Small scale, Obagun Road, FIRO, Ladipo Mkt, Oduduwa, Obagun, Palm Avenue, Buhari Rd, CAC str, Oshodi Express, Army Cantonment, Adedokun and environment.
